MHCR’s goal is to help with peacebuilding and reconciliation around the entire world and we have made a concerted effort to be at the forefront of these processes. These efforts include:
MHCR and partners piloted their first "Regional Learning Hub" to bring inside reconcilers and regional experts together for peer-support to advance reconciliation in Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya and South Sudan.
MHCR worked with the Al Amana Centre in Oman to co-facilitate a spiritual reconciler's retreat. Reconcilers such as Mpho Tutu, Agnes Aboum from World Council of Churches and Norman Hayes, retired U.S. Admiral participated in this retreat.
In October 2019, MHCR partnered with Inclusive Peace and USIP to bring leading practitioners, scholars, government agencies, universities, and NGOs for a workshop on “Improving the Impact of Reconciliation”
